conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, hypertension, depression
and incontinence.
And if you ever need extra assistance, you
can choose from a variety of personal services and pay for
what you use. We have staff on call 24-hours-a-day and our
assistants are professionally trained. For special occasions,
you may want to reserve our private dining room for you and
your guests. Go casual or dress up, if you prefer.
Basic Assisted Living Services
Three meals daily and additional snacks that are nutritionally well-balanced are included. We will provide planned activities and services designed for your physical, social and spiritual needs. We will provide weekly housekeeping in your apartment.
You will be provided the opportunity to use the common areas of Windsor Gardens at your leisure, such as the lounges, libraries, and living room. We will provide weekly housekeeping and flat linen services. We also will provide your individual emergency response system. Additional charges may be added for more extensive services, such as catering guest meals.
Personalized Assistance
Our staff at Windsor Gardens will make available to you assistance
as needed with dressing, grooming, bathing, and other activities
of daily living, based on your current service arrangement
as indicated by your most recent service assessment, and to
the extent allowed by the current laws governing assisted
living communities in Kentucky. We will also provide staff
to help you arrange for needed home health services as required
and prescribed by your doctor. Our goal is to help you keep
healthy in your new home, so we will treat you with the same
concern and attention as we would our own family members.
Medication monitoring and assistance is
an important part of our care. We will assist you with storage
and self-administration of your medicines. Kentucky law prohibits
us from giving injections, enemas, or any treatments. But,
we will help you arrange for those in-home services by a licensed
provider if you need them. If your care requires services
that cannot be provided to you in our community, transfer
to a higher level of care outside of Windsor Gardens may be
warranted. And if you need 24-hour nursing care, we are ready
to help you transfer into a hospital or a nursing home.
You are responsible for paying your Basic
Service Rate even when you are absent from your apartment,
including, but not limited to: times you are on vacation or
if and when you may be admitted to a medical facility.
